Armrest cover

I have fabric seats and the fabric armrest is really dirty looking no matter how hard I try to clean it.

Can I order a leather armrest online for a reasonable price? I'd rather not spend an arm and a leg. I only need the leather cover, not the armrest itself.

I miss leather interiors on cars because they were always so easy to keep clean.

Re: Armrest cover

I don't see why not. Assuming they are different (one is leather the other is not..) just use the part number for an RTL model. It should fit the same.

Re: Armrest cover

Like Rollin said, just get the RTL armrest. Shouldn't be that expensive.

Re: Armrest cover

The "leather" (vinyl, actually) armrest that came with my 2010 developed a worn, sticky spot where my elbow rested in less than 3 years. I replaced it several months ago with another "leather" one. It seems like I paid around $60-something for it. It wasn't the easiest thing to replace, but I managed to finally get it done. Now, I cover it with a towel to protect it.

Re: Armrest cover

Where did you find it? Order it from the dealer? Or from an online source?

Use the Google Customer Search bar at the top of this forum. Type in "arm rest" and click "Search".

Re: Armrest cover

Just go to a local upholstery shop, and present them with this problem.

Sounds like a more expensive solution, but you will likely end up with a nicer grade of leather.

...or leather PERIOD. As I mentioned, the armrest is described as "leather", but it is vinyl. I know because I took my old one apart after I replaced it.
