At least I think it's a different one; it has a different tag than the last one I posted. Met a buddy over in Leeds, Alabama yesterday and spotted it pulling into a Publix. I went over and snapped a few pictures; I probably could have gotten some better shots, but I felt like a creep taking pictures of a car in the parking lot.
After finally being up close and walking around it, I feel much better about my 1794 purchase. I think this is going to be a good truck, but I don't think it would have been right for me.
Here she is; I tried to get the bed depth for y'all that were wondering:
Tried to get an interior shot, but I mostly got me. Here it is just in case anyone can glean anything from it. Excuse the ugly guy in the reflection. The driver circled the lot to park close or I would have gotten a picture next to the Crewmax for a size comparison, sorry.
Thanks for posting that's exactly the one I want.
That Black Edition Ridgeline needs some good TLC
A bucket with water with some Meguiar's Gold Class carwash Shampoo & Conditioner.

I screwed up the image and deleted the wrong one but, the bed is about the same size as the entire cabin of a KIA optima?
got it
AND, judging by another image, it is ABOUT the same size as an older GMC (chevy?) pickup! VERY happy to see these images, thanks!
And you have an amazingly white shirt. lol
One more thing, Honda test drivers park like !@#$%^&*()! Omg, they should be embarrassed.
AND another thing, there is a Hitch ball mount in the trailer hitch...hmmm...can anyone read the sticker?
It just looks like "4WD" in that photo, but if you Google for 2017 RL photo galleries and open a closer image of the tailgate, I think you'll see that it is actually an "AWD" badge. Some auto show pics and videos also showed this.
In these pictures the black wheels look okay although tires & wheels are dirty.
The pictures from auto shows I was unsure Detroit pic I did not like them but other shows from different angles I did. I would also have the accessory Tonneau Cover and running boards added.
I drove another one today. Love the power and the updated electronics. I HATE the cockpit, small buttons, no console armrest and it just feels like a much smaller vehicle. This is not a truck. Honda = FAIL. My opinion. Forget the 7000 lb. tow ratings... BS.
I'm confused. I did not see in any of the threads that you had driven one before. How were you able to test drive? I like the armrest attached to the seat if it isn't too low. Could you give us more of a review? Steering, handling, ride etc. Thanks.
This has to be the strangest vehicle I have ever seen in that - in some pictures it looks great, others it is absolutely hideous.. I don't think there is one in this thread which looks good.. I am still holding out hope and want to see it in-person/drive it before deciding between it and a Tundra (I know, I know completely different animals but I have spent a lot of time on the matter and it is down to these two).
With what I see, I have a tendency to believe that the value of my first Gen will hold strong in resale value. Having said that, to my disappointment this is most likely my last RL and happy I traded my 2010 for a 2014. I was hoping it to grow on me but the only way that will happen is if once I see it in person, I see a totally different view of it which I highly doubt but very open to it.
My next truck will be between an F150 or Tundra if they ever manage to control it's fuel consumption by the time I trade my RL in 2018.
Yes, I'm very disappointed in the new RL and wish all the best for those who love it. :frown:
Overall, the bigger length x width of the bed is noticeable but so is the lack of depth...I judge bed depth by how well my goalie bag slides in...It was tight getting under the tonneau on my Gen I without releasing the tonneau latches. Then I got the RAM and you realize how much additional bed height means...Even my short 5'7" bed in the RAM seems huge.
Still, despite all the angst, I'm very interested in Gen II as a future vehicle. Driving like a car/SUV isn't necessarily a bad thing. The RAM has made me even more aware of a luxury car like ride in a truck. Quiet and smooth is nice on road trips when you are 50+!
Glad to see "4WD"! It was "AWD" on the earlier machines and several articles mentioned that Honda was using the nomenclature specifically. At least they listened and gave in on this one. Maybe there will be other changes too.
