They have the same displacement engine and weigh about the same but the similarities stop there. Check out the tow ratings for the Pilot vs. the Ridgeline. Everything has to be different to pull the extra weight and load. What is the GVW of the Pilot vs the Ridge? I'll bet you are not supposed to throw 1500 lb in the back of a Pilot.
