The police will not pull over late model cars unless they are absolutely sure it doesn't come from the factory with HID's. The Ridgeline looks like a vehicle that comes with HID. As long as you don't go with a stupid unnatural colour, you'll be OK.

HID's, when set up correctly, does wonders. They truly are night and day. A buddy of mine has proper HID's on his old school Civic beater. That thing is incredible at night. No glare whatsoever and the cutoff is so straight and pronounced. You cannot overdrive those lights. His HID's were retrofitted and had all the necessary components. Way more effective than run of the mill OEM HID's.
