I have packed just over 23 gallons of gas into my Ridgeline at two different gas stations and in both instances the fuel light was on for approx 10 to 20 miles.

My point is that somewhere along the line we have some misinformation , either on the pumps calculation or the fuel line and filler neck hold more than 2 gallons.

So , all of our comparisons are not scientific by any means. There is no way that i know of to tell the exact amount of fuel left when you go to fill up , my guess is it could be off by as much as 2 gallons . That could make a couple MPG difference when we figure our mileage.

I have 2000 miles now and have gotten better MPG with each tank ive used.

I am up to 15 city and 20 highway to the best of my knowledge.
