Marysville during Honda Homecoming

Hi All -

one of the concerns I've seen posted is: What is Marysville like during Honda Homecoming?

I asked my wife to describe it. Her words: Like small-town America during the 4th of July.

What it ISN'T: Daytona during Bike Week. Sturgis during Harley week. Any bare-breasted, beer drinking, dirty-rotten-scoundrel, loud motorcycle revving, monster party. Until the ROC arrives!!!! Just kidding.

Marysville rolls out the red carpet for Homecoming.

I cannot tell you how EXCITED our local Honda Dealership is to host us! They want to make special t-shirts JUST FOR US!!! NO CHARGE!!! This is in ADDITION to the ROC t-shirt!

The parts manager (Hi JIM!) is a ROC member. The manager of the motorsports complex is also a Ridgeline owner.

The GM wants to trick out a Ridgeline as a parts truck. (I'm hoping he'll have it ready by our meet).

Are there a lot of bikes? Yes. A lot of HONDA enthusiasts? HECK YES!

I am totally excited by this meet. We've been working on our yard, our chickens, our boys, the gardens, and the tree house. I've been driving my Ridgeline to the bone to haul, pull (had to free my mower last weekend), and just overall DRIVE my truck. My wife & kids (aka - the Ridge Rats) are really excited about this. The boys are really wanting to meet other kids "from the back seat."

I guess I can raise my hand and "volunteer" my truck to receive all the tricked-out goodies.... or did you already try that, Ridgeln???

Trust me, I volunteered to be the test bed for any mods they wanted to do, and wouldn't charge them ANYTHING for the privilege
