You guys think Honda will replace this for Free

2 weeks old RTX I-495 Delaware. Rock-Windshield-Priceless.Yep got the old interstate rock in the kisser about two days ago on my new truck daaaaaam that kinda hurt.

NO Honda won't because ROCK CHIPS ARE NOT A WARRANTIED ITEM>> BUT!!! I don't know about the U.S Ridgeline but up in Canada for the 2006 model, Honda has a recall for wind noise coming from the windshield and you have to remove the windshield to replace weather striping so they supply a new one, I had 3 bad rock chips in mine and they replaced it for no charge.

Most insurance companies will repair rock chips for free as long as the chip is not in your direct field of vision. Other insurance companies charge a minimal ($25 or so) deductible for this. Additionally, it normally does not count as a claim or affect your rates.

Better check on that one. I know that repairs are done free in this area, but I was told it counted as a claim.
