Creaking at 200 miles

I was driving my new RTX today and I have started to get an annoying creak\rattle on the lower left side of the dash.

Could this be the steering issue I have read about?

Any ideas out there as to the cause?

There are a few dozen posts on this problem....search steering wheel and rattle... In short, its a creaking steering column and possibly a rattling speaker cover on your dask. good luck

I had a similiar sound coming from my dash on my RTX, but it disappeared as soon as it came ??

If you find yours, let me know !

I will pass the info on. It almost sounds like the cargo light is loose.

The more I hear the noise the more I am convinced that the noise is coming from the steering area.

I would have hoped this was solved in the 07 model but I guess I was wrong.

My appt is Fridy I wil let all know if that was the issue. Other than that I love it and others are amazed at how nice the truck is.

I went to the store today and had them check out the noise. None found on he way back home it was louder. I am going back Weds and ask the tech to drive with me.

While there I had the rear splash gaurds installed. They look great.

I hope they fix the noise it is starting to annoy me.

Just a quick update.

The noise has slowed down and now only happens occasionally.

I will wait for my first LOF to have checked.

The more I drive the truck the more I like it.
