07 RL top speed ?

Just curious.
Does someone know what the top speed of the RL is on level ground?
I thought it would cost less to just solve my curiosity by asking on this forum rather than explaining to an officer that I was trying find the top speed.

P.M. if you wish to remain innocent.LOL
Thanks.

112, same as the tires are rated for. And no, I've not reached that speed.

Re: 07 RL top speed ?

My speedo said 112, my scanguage said 110. It's hard telling which one was right. All I know is that you could take a nap in a RL going that speed. The ride was as smooooth as silk.

Re: 07 RL top speed ?

Hiway 63 ends where I am. It is not as straight as the map says it is but I hit 180 kilometers/hour (111 mph) without being aware of it, back before I relaced the windshield. It was an easy drive, it felt like there was lots of power, I was no where near redline, but I don't remember the actual rpm.
My Silverado had a way jerkier governer.
