The Oil Life % number

Is this how much oil is left in your Ridge or when it reaches 0% you have to go get it changed?

It tells you when to get a change. If it was how much oil, I'd feel bad about having gone to -10% before. Ha ha.

Re: The Oil Life % number

Not how much is left in there, but how much life based upon mileage and the average conditions.

If you are leaking oil, this % will not tell you that the engine is low.

saying that, I get mine changed when I get to 20%. Sure that is probably more than is needed, but I don't care.

Have you even attempted to read your owner's manual?

Can that hand be trained to do anything else?

I assume that you mean to flip-off other drivers

The owners manual is your friend. I think it would be good to read up on the Tire Pressure Indicator as well.

-10? It reads the number of miles past due, not a negative percentage!

Spoken very eloquently! Two days after I purchased my Ridge, I accidentally bumped the VSA button and the "!" inside the triangle popped on. I already had my post ready to go until I decided to RTFM.
