Question Spray in Bedliner for Ridgeline?

Greetings, I'm new to the forum.

I've had my '07 RTX for about 7 months. Love the truck but I'm not a big fan of the lining in the bed area. Seems to scratch real easily. Does anyone know if you can have a spray liner installed on a Ridgeline. I worry about it mainly because of the trunk. I don't want to affect the dynamics of opening/closing etc. May not be a big deal but if anyone has a spray on liner I'd love to know how they like it.

Thanks.

I think a truck with scratches in the bed is okay. But, that spray on job looks very good.

Re: Spray in Bedliner for Ridgeline?

I've had 2 other trucks. One I had no liner and just let the bed scratch up and the other I had a spray on liner put in when it was brand new. Over time the spray on liner just really seemed to hold up well. I really liked it. I thought when I bought the Ridgeline that the surface was similar to a spray on, I scratched it the first time I hauled anything in the bed and realized it was not.

I've had my '06 for almost 3 years and the bed has developed a nice used look. All the scratches have blended together. No one has ever uttered a negative comment.

Re: Spray in Bedliner for Ridgeline?

I read the other posts re: spray-in bedliner and it was interesting to see that unfold (many companies reluctance to spray the composite material)... I realize there are many who have now had this done some years ago and I'm curious to read how it's held up over the years. I realize there is a lifetime warranty for the Line-X, but that doesn't really answer my question about durability on the R's composite material (not really interested in going back for "fixes" every couple months -if it's not holding up)
Thanks for all the valuable input here and on the previous thread!!!

Re: Spray in Bedliner for Ridgeline?

Just an update. I have never gotten around to having the liner sprayed in but have gotten used to the scratches. On a side note, this is the best handling vehicle in bad weather I've ever had. Be it rain or snow (yes we actually had one day with a good snow storm here this year) I am amazed by how in control I feel in my Ridgeline. I have 3 friends with new Tacomas, they are nice trucks but I still don't think they compare to mine.

Re: Spray in Bedliner for Ridgeline?

If you actually have scratches a little black paste shoe polish will work. If they are actually scuffs and not scratches then Amour-all will do just fine. Some have posted that olive oil does a number on the scuffs!!
