I'd love to see a grille like the new Pilot's available for the current Ridgeline.

Have to fess up.......................Jumped into this tread with both feet.
Oh well, it was good reading at least.

I will have ownership for 36 months on April 27, 2008 and it is still a great truck and excellent investment.

PS. I got sick of looking at the different rear window thread that has been sitting on the forum front page since January 24th so I added this thread. I'll bet this section gets real busy for the next few days.
That wasn't nice Chris go to your room now little man !

That was an awesome vid!!! Thanks for that! What a great laugh by the way...

I do wonder if they are going to change the headlight shape or not on the new Ridgeline...

Re: 2009 Ridgeline Spy Photos!!

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...cleId=121392#2

Here are the spy photo's courtesy of Edmunds.com Check it out it's pretty much the same. The rumor has it it will have the same engine from the 2009 Pilot and 3.5L J35Z2 V6 Accord motor with around 268hp and have Cylinder deactivation like the 2008 Accord's engine deactivating 3 and 2 cylinders according to driving conditions.

If Honda had half of a brain they should use the J37A1 3.7L (3664 cc) 24 valve SOHC V6 VTEC 300 bhp @ 6000 rpm 275 ft·lbf @ 5000 rpm engine from the 2008 Acura MDX and 2009 RL adjust the price accordingly then add cylinder deactivation to that thing to get more power, better fuel economy and a truck that can haul and toe more. Alas the Bean counters may put the pin in that happy grenade, Who knows!!

What I would like them to do but they won't Below...
They they should add a magnetic front differential and some form of Acura's Super handling all wheel drive if they really wanted to make you live a fantasy that also won't happen. But in reality they should use some synthetic oil so you guys won't have to change oil as often and I won't have to hear your complaints about how often you need to change differential oil all the time. Redline makes some pretty nice synthetic lubricants by the way that can handle your woes. (as a side note)(My BMW's ATF lasts 100,000 miles the newer ones last 150,000 miles on ATF, it's not lifetime by the way according to the BMW service manual, not what the dealer tells you!!!)

Re: 2009 Ridgeline Spy Photos!!

According to Autoblog on the Diesel
http://www.autoblog.com/2006/12/04/h...ith-v6-diesel/

"The vehicles identified by Fukui as being the likely recipients of a V6 diesel are the Ridgeline pickup, Pilot SUV and Odyssey minivan, with Acura's MDX also being a candidate for oil-burning power.

The V6 engine is currently under development and will likely debut sometime after Honda introduces their 2.2-liter diesel in 2009."
