Glad to hear you're safe. Did anybody get hurt in the other vehicle? Did you're airbags deploy (they must have). Makes me proud to drive a Ridgeline. Thanks for sharing.

Yes Air bags blew off and the other car The person was not hurt whiplash, The air bags blew off in stages just like the dealer said they would They wrote it off becaust the front cross member was bent and the engine mounts broke

don't worry they are supposed to break, but the frame all the way back to the tail gat was twisted to absorb the shock, I have other pic's of the tear down they build these trucks completly solid It took 6 hours just to get the Trunk and bed liner out it is all attached to the frame. I'll get the pic's to-night and put them on.

What do you mean by this? The front bags, then the sides? It's amazing the technology that has gone into this vehicle to make us safe. Makes me not mind the lower gas mileage as much. Again thanks for sharing your experience on this. I bet the other guy was surprised that you were unscratched.

Re: Pic of the 2007 smashed front end...

WOW! Glad you're ok! Wow! I've shown my wife about 3 or 4 Ridgeline accident pictures now, and I've convinced her that she needs a Ridge too! She is impressed on how well they hold up, and the lack of injury reported by the drivers.

She did give me an accidental compliment on my Ridge - she said it was to "manly", and she wanted one a little more "girly" looking! Now, only to pay for it......

Glad to hear that you came through without being hurt. Yow, your old RL looks like if got punched in the nose. I am pleased that the safety systems worked as designed.

Re: Pic of the 2007 smashed front end...

Thanks for being a succesful crash test dummy for us. It's good to know the truck can take this kind of abuse while keeping the driver safe. Glad to here you're okay and better luck on your next Ridgeline
