Nope, not inaccurate, but because they fielded alot of phone calls from people who complained about low mpg. These people would typically reset it and watch the mpg for a mile or two and then bitch. You really have to let it run over time a bit to get an accurate result. Unfortunataly the only the people who call are those having trouble so Honda gets a skewed representation of the public opinion. Therefore we have to call and bitch to get it back.
