Seat cover question?

Is it OK to install seat covers on my G2?

I was wondering with the seat warmers if it would do any harm to the covers or the leather seats to not let all the heat out. Maybe not feel the heat as much, or maybe insulate and feel it more?

I work in my truck and get in and out many times a day and don't want to rub a whole in the side of the seat. I started to do damage to the side seat in my last truck and put the neo supreme covers on and it worked great. Wore out the cover on the side a little. When I sold the Nissan, without seat heaters, I took the seat covers off and the seat looked great.

Thanks.

Re: Seat cover question?

I rarely used the seat heater when I had an Infiniti. If you think using the seat heater with the cover is a bad idea, you could either not use the seat heater or just take the cover off for the winter.

Re: Seat cover question?

I think the biggest problem is the airbags on the side of the seat. Don't want to block those unless someone makes one specifically for the Ridgeline or maybe even 2016 Pilot.

The seat cover company claim they are air bag safe and they are specifically designed for the G2.

I haven't got them yet but their name is Shear Comfort Seat Covers.

I got my seat covers for my Nissan Frontier from them and they were very nice covers. Really saved my drivers seat from tearing up over the years of getting in and out everyday.

I looked into them due to your post and my set is on the way. They are not cheap, but high quality never is. I bought the Genuine imitation leather set, with arm rests and head rest covers. $309. Custom fit for the G2 RL, so it is worth it.

You can forget about the seat warmer feature, that's for sure !

I've the rear covers on and could barely feel the warmer ( if anything, it's not ice hard cold ).

I would imagine the covers for the front are leather.. won't be able to feel a thing !... at least ya get to save the upholstery !

Where do you get those? Is that from Honda? I only saw seat covers for the rear and not the front on the website. Any help is appreciated.
