Re: 2009 Ridgeline Spy Photos!!

IMHO, there is no way Honda is discontinuing the Ridgeline. It's not the lone Honda product that doesn't produce big units (think Element, Acura RL). It is truly a niche vehicle that keeps Honda's foot in the pickup truck door. It has been acclaimed over and over again by the "experts". And there are well over 100,000 Ridgelines currently in service. Let's not forget 100,000+ owners that are truly passionate about their ride. Auto sales are tough all over right now. Even the brand new Accord did not comp it's January sales against the previous generation model (down over 20% vs. LY). I think any delays have everything to do with existing inventory on the '08's and nothing to do with an elimination of the model. There's nothing forcing Honda to introduce a vehicle in the spring. They can simply delay until the fall if they see the need. In the meantime, anyone that has been fence sitting on the purchase of a Ridgeline can get the deal of a lifetime on an '08!
