I don't have a need for the instrument cluster set, so I break out the other sets...

+ The More Pads set is $12+$3 = $15
for a total of $48

hmmm... question is, how hard can this be to make these... I have scissors! Looks like I could also make a trunk mat with the material as well. If I buy a roll of this (or however it works), I figure I can get a lot of material for the cost of a factory trunk pad (~$50) + the costs I just stated.

Comments?
I made my own pads. I got a roll of very dark gray (almost black) shelf liner from Lowe's for about $5. It's not the stuff with holes in it, but a textured, padded shelf liner. It's not as thick as the pads sold on eBay, but thick enough to do the job well. It took a while to cut out all the pieces, but they ended up fitting perfectly. I used a paper cutter to cut the straight lines, and used scissors for rounding the corners. I was even able to cut a nice fitting single pad for the dual cup holder. Made a nice one for the trunk shelf, too. And I've still got half a roll of the shelf liner left over. Hey, I'm cheap. What can I say.
