Re: Hondata Reflash - Gauging interest, looking for test vehicle in Torrance, CA

There is a tremendous amount of pessimism here about a company that tuned the Baja ridgeline and made incredible gains on the supercharged comptech project.

If a perfect air fuel ratio is 14.7:1 and it's believed 14.1:1 on a dyna pack is considered perfect than at least a 13:1 air fuel ratio should be possible

Now put that up against a stock ridgeline that in some places is 9.5:1 and you could using regular pump 91 octane without pushing it make coniderable gains in fuel economy and therefore power - there are the same thing.

Air makes power, gas in the catalyst so reducing the amount of gas or increasing the amount of air will produce both these results.

I already get 25mpg on the highway and I still got a nice bump in power and looking at the AFR it's still only 11.5:1 with JET reflash which is on the in case you think of using 64 octane cheapco gas in the middle of summer towing 6 tons up the grapevine with the AC on.
