I should point out the pads in question are top of the line carbon pieces made by one of the largest brake suppliers to the racing community. I have no doubt of their purported racing experience or success.
My hopes were that maybe they improved over the years. For street cars I can't say much positive aside from that they don't wear out  Maybe that's why the friction was so low. In 15 years they are the second set I've used.
My statement above in no way reflects poorly on the EBC pads, and in this case actually makes them a cut above in my experience.
