Love my NUVI 260. Works great, right out of the box. It's very intuitive so reading the directions is some what optional. Only draw back, is that it is really designed for car use, on road only. The small size allows them to be backpacked or bicycled, but when you are away from a road it behaves oddly, not providing much direction, and saying only "drive to highlighted route". If you are using it 99% in a car they are great. Will get you anywheres without error!
