There have been a few other threads about this. Here is a post from me about how the trunk fits into all of this.
To stop the doors relocking themselves if you haven't opened a door after 30 seconds
For the record, my 2005 Accord does the same thing, as does my Frontier and my wife's old Prius. (Honda, Nissan, Toyota. hmmmm I sense a pattern)
Also for the record, I don't particularly care for this feature, but not a big deal (unless you do the scenario in the above link).
