This is a common problem with the drivers seat. My drivers side seat cushion did the same thing. I think it's due to very flimsy foam underneath, so it doesn't matter whether you have leather of cloth. In my case, my RTL has leather.
I personally think that more people should complain about this, so it becomes a TSB. Honda replaced my lower drivers seat cushion, only after I complained about it on 3 separate visits. The first 2 times I complained about it, they told me it was normal wear. Obviously, this is clearly NOT normal wear.
