Thumbs up Replacement Tire Recommendations

At 71,000 miles I am finally going to have to replace my OEM Michelin's on my 2007 RTL. Is there a consensus on a good riding/gas mileage replacement tire. Suggestions appreciated. - Mike

I did the MS2's at 85k and like them as well as the oem.

OEM- Hitch, Brush Guard, Fog Lights, Wood Dash, Side Mouldings, Fender Flares/Splash Guards, Roof Rack, Hard Tonneau and 2013 RTL wheels. Non OEM- Fat Bob's Lift, 265/60/18 LTX MS 2's, front tint, LED's, Figs props, Pioneer Avic x930 bt, 400w amp, Bazooka sub, Backup camera, Fog Light mod.

You could always just stay with what is proven and true.

I went back with the Michelin ltx after getting 155k on my factory set....can't get much better in my opinion!!!

I agree with the LTX M/S for replacement. Any reason you might want to change?

I'm going to try Toyo A/T next. Already gone through two sets of LTX M/S and only have 72K on my truck. I can't the mileage some of you guys are getting. 155K al I can say is wow.

Went with the newer M/S2 instead. Suppose to be better and a little taller. I do get a slight rub if turning and hitting bumps or dips.

I got the Mich Latitude, just because the originals MS rotten with cracks replaced them under warranty with a new MS from sears and 2 years later they starting to crack again.

The stopping power from the Latitudes and how smooth they stop on stop and go traffic is almost like driving a much lighter truck or luxury SUV, no comparison, can't speak much for gas mileage or noise but I am sure they are quieter and I did not notice that as much.
