Some Michelins aren't so great. I am not a fan of the CrossTerrains either... have a set of them on our Pilot and think I'll be going to the M/S2 when I've squeezed all the goodie out of this set. I have 40k-ish on them now and they won't go much further... down to 3/32 in places.

I've had no issues with cracking on my RL's OEM/replacement M/S tires. When I take it through the drive through, I insist on NO tire shine. But mainly because I don't like it slinging off and making a mess, which it tends to do. I hadn't drawn a connection to the cracking issue until this thread, so I'm glad I leave that off.
