Thanks for the Kudo's! The Wheels are from a relatively new comer to the industry. Actually they are the main manufacturing unit for quite a number of wheel distributors. They are from Kyowa Racing at Kyowadesigns.com and are model number K2 517 Black 5-spoke 20ӯ x 8.5 wide with a 5 x 120mm bolt pattern and machined hub-centric for an ultra smooth ride. Retail is $296 each but you can find them way cheaper on the web (bigwheels etc) Tires are Toyo proxes S/T 255/50/R20 109V rated.
To answer what most of us want to know; There is zero rubbing of any kind at any time with this setup (I’ve already checked this out for you guys) and they ride almost as smooth as the 17”Ø stockers. However, during “hard cornering” they grab much quicker and behave better in the wet than my stock units, plus they do not make any additional noise! (Yeah!). The difference during freeway driving is negligible and the overall diameter is 29.9” so I do have a speedo error to compensate for. But this is the motif or style I’ve been planning since we brought our baby home “Black on Black” with very little to no chrome. However, I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea and that my friend’s is what makes it so cool, cause I’ve always liked the black on chrome look myself. Hope this helps my fellow members decide what shoes to wear.
(Huntin boots or Tennis shoes????)
