Thanks Ian I think I'll be happy too with this amp. Laserguy has given me a couple of options to where to mount it. Under the passenger seat looked like a viable option until I read some of his past posts regarding the maximum weight a person that could sit in the front seat was 250lbs...not option, and sometime some of my relatives drive my truck with and they exceed the weight restrictions.... I want to leave the cargo area clean, so that leaves behind the backseat.
I have my amp under the passenger seat. My father in law is about 6'-5" and about 260-270lbs. He's sat in that seat several times before and I've never had an issue. There is at least 1/2" to 3/4" of clearance on the top of it. You might want to test fit it to see if it would work there. It's by far the most convenient spot.
