Meanders, there is indeed an adapter hiding up there, but what's there is a four-pin Honda connector for brake controllers. There are two ways you can use this:
  1. If you bought the OEM hitch and wiring kit, Honda gave you a pigtail adapter with that kit. The pigtail has the connector and four wires (each labeled) attached to it. To connect your Prodigy (or any other brake controller), get the wiring diagram for the brake controller, connect the wires appropriately, and then simply plug the connectors together
  2. Contact Prodigy and see if they make their own adapter which connects to the one already in your truck.
I just installed a Tekonsha brake controller tonight. First I found the connector under my dash and removed the tape. Next I found the Tekonsha wiring diagram online and connected the wires to the pigtail. Once complete, I just plugged the two together and mounted the controller to the right of the emergency brake with a few screws. Took about 20 minutes. Hope this helps!
