Question Burtman Ind. Brush Guard; Any experience w/ it?

Has anyone purchased and installed the brush guard from Burton Ind. yet? I was looking at it today and he is offering it for the same $249 price that the G-Tech one is available for. I was just curious how they compared. I'm still waiting to find out what the shipping would be from Burton. I got a quote of about $90 to ship the G-Tech one.

Re: Burton Ind. Brush Guard; Any experience w/ it?

I believe Burtman is selling the G.Tech brush guard. I got mine from SUV-Protech & can't complain about the service, price, or anything. However, if Jason had been selling them (at the same price & assuming that shipping from California to Upper Margaritaville would be pretty much the same as from NYC), I probably would've bought from him to support a ROC sponsor.

It is a first-class product. I sure like mine. I did come in the stinkiest packaging ever, though!

I just heard back from Jason at Burtman, the shipping is going to be $134. Looks like I'll probably end up ordering from NY to save the $40.

Just remember, we stand behind everything we sell... What this means is, if you ever have a problem, we are here for you 100%. We are selling this item at almost cost for this forum. : )

UPDATE, 3/23/08:

We have a new version with even nicer quality!!! The original guard was a replica made in China. We now have the original version, not a copy, which is made in the USA! This guard now comes with a 5 year warranty on the black version, and a lifetime on the polished version! The welds are nicer, the powerdercoat is better, fit is like a glove, and is has a warranty that the old one never had! Others are still selling the China replica, but we are selling the original for a price that's still unbelievable.
