Re: "New" 2006 Ridgeline Owner's Manual...
Why should existing owners have to pay for this ? We plunked down $30k for our vehicles, and should be sent the new manual in the mail. It's not like they changed it for the 07 models. What if there is a warranty issue, and the dealer uses the line "The owners manual states ........." , but you have an orig. manual, and the dealer is using the updated one, etc.................

Nobody ever reads the manual anyway!
Seriously, I doubt they changed much. I know my manual didn't say that all doors unlock automatically which some people manual's here said they do. Probably that type of stuff that got corrected.

Re: "New" 2006 Ridgeline Owner's Manual...
Some owners don't view these changes as "corrections". They see them as a reduction in promised features. The revised manual is Honda's way of covering their you-know-what.

Re: "New" 2006 Ridgeline Owner's Manual...
Maybe that was a bad example, but it was the 1st one I thought of. It seems like something else was different in mine than what I'd read, but I can't remember what it was.

Re: "New" 2006 Ridgeline Owner's Manual...
One thing the manual got wrong was the tow ratings. These are the correct figures which should be in the new manual:
Passengers - trailer wt - tongue wt 1-2 5000lb 600lb 3 4750lb 600lb 4 4750lb 570lb 5 4500lb 516lb This is for assumed passenger weight of 150lbs and 175lbs of cargo in the trunk. |

Re: "New" 2006 Ridgeline Owner's Manual...
Just received the Ridgeline Service Manual...... holy cow, it's huge!
I wonder how big the body and electrical manuals are? I hope they come out with a CD version. It would be nice to read up on stuff on the good ol' laptop and print out only the pages I want.
