Torza Baby!!!!

Just installed my new Torza Hard Hat premier last night after reading many posts and doing a lot of research. I must say that this is a fantastic bed cover and one of the better designs that I have seen. Put the rails on in about 10 minutes, and the rest of the unit is one piece and clamps right on to the rails. Installation appears to be water resistant. I coated the convertible top material with a special water repellent/conditioner that I use on my Z3 and it beads water like crazy. Although I did notice some minor material flapping while driving, it is a non-issue. Overall, I rate the top about a 9 out of ten for excellent fit, installation and overall appearance.

The web site claims it will, I suspect minimally as I do mostly in town driving. I will keep an eye on it though as I only average 16.5 MPG.

I think they busted that myth a while back on Mythbusters. Doesn't help to leave the tailgate down either.

Re: Torza Baby!!!!

I installed the regular Torza Advantage about 2 weeks ago on my new RL and I love it, too. It really is a nice design and a super-simple install.

Re: Torza Baby!!!!

I agree!! I have had my Torza Advantage for over 6 mos. I love it. It made it through a PA winter no problems. I love that in 1 min, I can remove it and have a full pick-up bed with no inference. It's also nice to quickly pop open to access the trunk fully (you can access the trunk with the cover on too). So far I've had only a trickle of water leak. Its great!!
