OEM Tonneau Cover Lock not working

I have the OEM tonneau cover and the lock has stopped working, will not stay down in the locked position. Anyone experience this problem? Can it be fixed? Are there any other locks that might work?

Rarely used the lock which is probably why it does not work when needed...

If it was dealer installed it's under warranty. Let them repair or replace it.

They get dusty / dirty. Spray some silicone or WD-40 on both top and bottom sides and it should work better. Mine does this every few months and a quick squirt takes care of it.

Re: OEM Tonneau Cover Lock not working

Mine was doing the same thing and while it was at the dealership recently for an oil change, I had them take a look at it, and after squirting a little WD-40 into the cylinder and working the key back and forth, it starting working properly. Good luck.
