Re: Discount OEM Honda Parts

Another thumbs up for Bernardi. I've made a few orders with them over the past week and all shipped the next day. The last of my packages from them (hitch and harness) are out for delivery today according to the UPS site.

To tell you the truth, most of the after market OEM accessory vendors all seem to be within a few dollars of each other pricewise. All things being equal I usually go with the vendor that is geographically closest to me to reduce shipping costs and speed up delivery times.

Thanks
Thomas

Re: Discount OEM Honda Parts

I bought the roof rack from Bernardi on Tuesday, they shipped on Wednesday and it arrived today (Thursday). I even used their cheapest ground shipping. If you live in Massachusetts, this is the place to buy from. Great prices and fast shipping.

Re: Discount OEM Honda Parts

I know this is a fairly old thread, but I thought I would post here, as there is some good information and I have a little information to add.

I am in the process of trying to find the best prices on the hitch/harness for my RL. It's been a frustrating process to say the least. My local stealership, where my wife and I have bought several vehicles from, wants to put the screws to me big time on the price for the hitch/harness. They want over $500 for the hitch/harness, plus tax, and they refuse to negotiate on the price of either. Oh, wait, I can't say that...I just got an e-mail that said they would take %10 off the price of the hitch for me...yet that price is still about %20 higher than if I ordered it on line and paid the frickin' shipping. You'd think they would be willing to dicker with a person a little, especially when I have bought multiple vehicles from them...but that's another story/thread.

I went and checked out the Bernardi Honda website and, while their prices are very competative, they want almost $100 for s/h. H&A, again, while their prices are competative, they want almost $90 for s/h.

Anyway...it still looks like Majestic is the best price on the harness ($118 + s/h). After trying to do a "best offer" with someone on ebay, they directed me to their website (www.erevnu.com) where they sell the hitch for the RL for $240 + s/h ($43). So, if a person where to go that route (Majestic for the harness and erevnu for the hitch), it's be about $360 + s/h.

That's the best price I have found. Can any ROC'ers tell me if they have found a better price on the Honda Hitch/Harness? If so, where? Thanks for your help in advance.

And, yes, I know you can get Hidden/Curt/U-Haul/etc. hitches for quite a bit cheaper, but I am interested only in the Honda Hitch at this time.

Re: Discount OEM Honda Parts

OK...quick update here. I just went and checked out the Majestic website again and it looks like they would be the best price for everything...and probably save you a few bucks shipping (from only one place) too...as the harness is listed @ $115.38, hitch is listed @ $221.89, shipping ($50), and handling ($4.95).

So, long story short, you could get the hitch/wiring harness from Majestic for $392.22, including s/h.

Best deal I have seen so far. I think I may be whipping out the ol' CC and ordering shortly....

Re: Discount OEM Honda Parts

OK, just posting to this to bump it up...just wondering if anybody has found a better price for the hitch/harness (including shipping) than what Majestic has them listed at.

Thanks.
