Thumbs down Fog light switch

Picked up truck in December and part of the deal was that they install the fog lights, which they did. However the dash switch for the beige interior was back ordered. I didn't think it was a big deal at the time, the parts dept said before Dec 24.....then it was Jan 4 because of the holidays....then Jan 11....today it's an indefinite backorder. They say from Japan, although I find it hard to believe they aren't sourcing these switches in North America. Anything is possible I guess.

At this point I'm prepared to just order it from a stocking dealer if one can be found. They tell me it's back ordered in the US as well but that doesn't mean someone might not have existing stock.

Just had to vent a bit. Thank goodness the knobs on the radio weren't back ordered or I'd be driving around without tunes. hahaha

Re: Fog light switch

Ask them to give you a gray switch until the tan one comes in, and make sure they'll take the gray one back.

Re: Fog light switch

I've been looking for a switch as well...not sure about availability based on color, but my impression having Googled "honda ridgeline fog light switch" is that you may be able to find plenty of vendors including Ebay that can assist.

My problem is I don't want to pay $10 for shipping on top of the $17 or so dollars for the switch...so if you find something reasonable let me know.

Re: Fog light switch

Shovelhd, that was actually my suggestion today and they agreed to do that. It's their problem so they have to take it back once mine comes in. It was part of the deal so there is no cost to me either way.

John32070 H and A doesn't ship into Canada. But I had a backup plan to get one out of the US if they were stubborn this morning.

It was just frustrating seeing the installed lights and not being able to flick the switch. hahaha

Re: Fog light switch

So, if you end up with an extra switch when all is said and done, I'd be happy to take it off your hands for cheap.
