I know there are countless posts on the forum about tonneau covers, but I'm still wondering if the Retrax is worth TWICE the price of the Truxedo....???

I'll chime in with my two cents worth here....
If you're looking for security and theft protection of the contents in your bed, the Retrax is probably your best bet. If you're just looking to cover the bed and keep occasional items from blowing out or getting dirty, the Truxedo is the key. IMHO, Simple, easy to install, keep up and clean, it's one of the best bed covers for the money.

I keep seeing different comments regarding Retrax and Access also...Does anyone know what the opening for the trunk is for these other two? And again, specifically due to the side rails, whether the tonneau is open or closed.
Thank you. Erik

I can only speak for the Truxedo, but I believe he means how far the trunk lid will open if the bed cover is in place. When it's rolled back out of the way, there is no interference with the trunk lid. When it's closed, it will hit the fabric, but not the side rails. They don't interfere at all with the trunk lid.
