shouldn't be a problem . . . you'd only need to cut slits (a single-edge razor blade and a good straight edge should do the trick) through the vinyl graphic, NOT through the tonneau "hinges"

Ahhh I misunderstood, I thought you were saying cut thru the cover. Thanks but no thanks on that. But cutting the graphic seems like a good idea. This is all just ideas, I just saw that big open blank slate and got thinking. I probably would not do it right away anyway. Was just curious if anyone had done it to their cover.

My guess would be that most modern sign shops (i.e., those with Gerber machines and their ilk and, particularly, any that routinely do giant vehicle graphics) could not only make your graphic for you but it's also possible that they could "slit" it with some precision so that you'd be installing strips on individual Retrax panels - might be worth checking out.

Personally, I think that a big sports team graphic or something else relevant to you would look absolutely terrific!

You know what I am going tomorrow to get some tinting done, I think they also do vehicle graphics, I will see what they have to say on the idea.
