oem tonneau cover

has anybody driven with the oem cover open??? searched around but couldn't find any information on it.. its pretty heavy but don't want the cover to get blown closed at highway speeds... thanks

ive driven with it open up to around 50 mph around town with no problems.

At least, secure the boards in the back......don't take any chances.......I lost a beautiful custom Petrillo in '73 at Padre by not making sure the boards were secure......enjoy the waves.....

It is pretty heavy and there is really no way for wind to get under it. I sometimes use a bungy cord and just wrap it around the handle and hook them to the upper hooks in the front corner for added measure but it is really not necessary.
