Lightbulb Wireless Rearview Cam For Navi?

Hi Gang,

So I asked my Honda dealer what I was looking at for the Rearview Back-up CAM installed. The install is more than the Camera. Botton line, cost prohibitive.

In my DJ Business I have a wireless camera abount the size of a Lipstick case that I've sewn into a hat for fun at parties where they've gotten my 55" Plasma Video package. The picture is surprisingly good.

I have to imagine there's a way to mount a small, wireless camera whose feed reception I can integrate into my RTL standard NAVI. Powering the camera is an issue as would be remote on/off if it were battery powered. Any thoughts from the techno-files out there?

I believe there are several devices that will connect to your navigation system that will allow a video input. Here is a link to one of them. Search around in the forum for backup cameras or video input and you will come up with a lot of options. Good Luck.

Upgrade any GPS Navigation Monitor/Display/Screen into Multi-Media System. Add Reverse Back Up Camera, Ipod, Iphone, DVD, TV-Tuner, Car PC, XBOX, Sony Playstation PS2, Nintendo Game Cube, Satellite TV, TV for Nav, AV Electronic, Inc.
