Retrax discount

I love my Retrax. It is everything that you said it was . Got mine from truckgadgets.com and paid a little more but they threw in a free electric cover lock that works great. I just wish I could get an electric tailgate lock to go with it. Any ideas?

I would like to thank the members of this forum for a great recommendation. I installed a Retrax cover on my Ridgeline today and I am very pleased with the product. As long as it is fairly water tight it appears to be the best cover option available.

Also the information on these forums helped to make my decision to buy the Ridgeline over others considered.

I just opened my Retrax (I was waiting until after teh camera install was done) and it is broken

I guess I have to call Monday, but I'm bummed out it won't be installed by the SoCal meet next Saturday.

This is probably the last thing I'll ever order through the mail ...90% of everything I've ever ordered showed up broken.

Retrax only allows dealers to discount to a certain point. The lowest price you will ever find from an authorized dealer is $931 shipped. Again, authorized dealers cannot fall below that price. (I'm an authorized Retrax dealer.)

EDIT: I called Retrax to discuss the max discount. As a "B&M" store, I can do whatever I want. So, I can offer deeper discounts!

EDIT#2: OK, after a conversation with Retrax last Wednesday, the best online price is $931 shipped (with free tailgated seal and lock cover). But, come to my shop and I can do better.

Does anyone know if the Retrax cover will also somehow lock my tailgate? I'm trying to decide which type of cover to buy. My buddy has an 06 RL, and he has the OEM cover from Honda, and he tells me it locks the tailgate. who has a retrax cover? Please let me know!!

I don't have a Retrax, but I have looked at them and seen them on other Ridgelines.....The short answer is no. They don't lock the tail gate.

The OEM cover does have a tail gate lock, but several have complained that theirs don't lock very well. The Roll N Lock has a tail gate lock, although this cover limits the trunk opening drastically.

I guess you don't believe me.....So maybe you should do a search, there are a lot of members of this forum that have the Retrax, and a LOT of posts about it. If you want the tail gate to lock with a Retrax Tonneau cover, you'll need to add a lock to your tail gate....Like the Dynolock!
