Re: Signal Mirrors

I just filled out a request as well. I think these are good safety features that Honda should include on future models. I for one notice another vehicle's mirror signals very easy since it is closer to eye level when driving.

Curious to know what they may run if they make them

I want my mirror signals to not be big and gawdy and at the same time be visible from the front and back of the mirrors. I have already figured out a way to run the wires through the mirrors and use the front turn signals as a trigger for the mirror signals. (BTW I think I have solved the mirror drainage problem. All it takes is a little drilling on the bottom side of the housing.)
I'd be very interested in signals that would cost around $50, not $200, that would be that easy to install and visible from both the front and rear and not too large. Please share what you have so far as maybe that'd be enough to get started.
Same for the drainage info for the mirror. Sounds like a quick and easy upgrade but invaluable information again.
THANKS for the work you've done.

Re: Side mirror turn signal

EDIT

I now have these on the website and I can do them in RED led OR ORANGE leds. The long wait has paid off!

Ridgelines with stock heated mirrors from factory

Ridgelines without heated mirrors from factory

I've sold these for many other vehicles and they do work great. These will ship in 2-3 weeks after you order, your card is charged when you order. Ordering now guarantee's you a set.

Many more pics on the site and a full write-up.

I think the higher cost is due to the RL's with heated side mirrors. It's pricey but if they integrate well with the RL, I'll be the first in line to buy.

Re: Side mirror turn signal

I think Jason is talking about the side signal mirrors that replace the OEM mirror. The Universal mirror that he shows (which is made my Muth) does not replace the side mirror; they're just stick ons.

Jason,

Muth lists those for $129. What price can you get for us?

Re: Side mirror turn signal

These are NOW available, see my post above. These are not a generic stick on item, they replace the glass fully, with an imbedded LED. When they are off, they look like stock mirrors. When you turn signals are ON, they come to life.
