Yeah Yeah ok ok on further discussion with the MrsDOC it has been decided that the G tech has a better look than the aires (sp?) SO what's that number again and is that deal still available?
You can PM me Chris.
Oh and just got my side steps in today I will be installing them this weekend.
They are off ebay and from just opening the package seem great custom fit without prob of factory.

Mine ships on monday!
After looking at this excellent thread. and looking at like 2 pics avaiable on e-bay for the aires. Well I decided to be cautious and go with a "known" rather than the "unknown". Thanks again to ChrisM excellent write up and pics.
Booyaa baby take that all you goofs that got a plain old bull bar. LOL you couldve gotten this beautifel piece of eye candy.
Oh and I definately will be putting my fog lights on this bar.

Good if you choose chrome. I thought with silver that choosing all chrome accessories would be to much over the top kinda bling bling madness. Went for understated black and I think it will be a great contrast to the silver ridge like my side steps. Post pics when its on.

Re: G. Tech brush guard master picture & info thread

Oh and they dont stick up through the brush guard I installed some spacers.
Here's the proof. Thanks again Chris. For those of you wondering what I am talking about. Chris PM, Chatted and cell phone talked me through this whole friggin thing. Came out beautiful.
I even learned what Lingered was talking about "relays" for the fog lights.
Anyone want details I cant add much to Chris's post but you can PM me anytime.
A word about Phillip the contact for the G-tech at top of this post. Top notch guy. Pay pal on Sat. Guard at my door wrapped to withstand UPS (there was even a rip in the box, no dammage at all to the bar) by WEDNESDAY! prompt e-mail responses. Just a pleasure to do business with.
Pic one yep that relay works. comes on with a turn of the dial to parking light first click.
Pic 2Stays on with low and high beam
Pic 3 well I blew a fuse doing this and was so excited I forgot to shut the hood, but I will get a replacement fuse and pic 3 will be my light bar and fog lights and high beam just to show tham all on. Updated 10/20/2006
