No, I removed just a few(6?) of the clips, this allowed me to bend it down as I attached the brackets. It was a rather easy install looking back. Dont make the mistake I did though, have someone help if you can, it just makes it that much easier

My G. Tech is now in transit!

Thanks,

You don't have to but if you don't you have to cut into it from the front as shown in ChrisM's photobucket.

Yup heres my way/
Think order is left front left inside left outside right front right inside. Dotted or dashed line is where I should have cut it just bent it down in front with a screw driver that left these handy little reference points.

Re: G. Tech brush guard master picture & info thread

What is really wierd is that I cut mine differently than both of the examples. I'll try to post some decent pics tomorrow. I'm a little under the weather tonite. Maybe I need to go up to Detroit and see the DOC tomorrow.

ChrisM calls work tomorrow morning: Hello, yes, I am Ill today and I wont be in. I have a doctors appointment in Detroit today. Yes I'll bring back a note from the doctor.

ChrisM calls RidgeDOC: Hello, I'll be up for the mini meet in a couple of hours. Can you write me a doctors excuse from work until say next Wednesday?

Thanks Doc. Man, I hope I don't "paralyze" myself wondering whether to make the "T" cut, the "block" cut, or the "transverse" cut. Hmmm... Maybe I'll try a Pfannensteil incision (aka "bikini" cut -- in joke for Doc

And oh yeah, Doc ... I'm SHOCKED that you didn't close the cuts with nice sutures!

I did find this photo of Doc trying to cure a Ford devotee...

I would like to formally welcome Djeaux to "CLUB G.TECH." He is our newest member. He will receive all of the benefits and special treatments our club members receive. Now if I could just remember where I put my benefits list.
