Well BLK RTL is just being silly. meaning there are three to a side, but they are welded together in two sets of three. only 4 bolts per side 8 total to remove the small bars, or better yet don't install them to begin with. They don't come pre-assembled in there you actually have to put them on.

And of course you can quickly remove them, get your inspection done & reinstall them!

(YMMV if you live in a civilized area. Where I am, I once ran for months with uncorked headers & nobody noticed since the local paperwood trucks were louder...)

Silly no, just a hasty post. My Doctorate in the Culinary arts did not focus on grammer, or come to think of it, not much of anything else. I did excell in hash slinging, water boiling, and heating up quarters on the grill for the unsuspecting service staff!

inspection sticker?? whats that? but ya i was thinking of leaving out just the middle bar so the light would show through better. i dunno if that would look gay though. opinions?

Are the headlights dimmed at all while driving with the bar?

Re: G. Tech brush guard master picture & info thread

I like the look of these brush guards. It appears to be fairly easy to install. No drilling, just bolt to the truck correct?

My only concern is if it voids any Honda warranties and would it pose a safety risk? Would this prevent airbag deployment?

I am not a lawyer, but I'd seriously doubt that the brush guard would void any warranties. I'm not volunteering to test airbag deployment.

Just had a look at at 4 Runner that was equipped with a similar bush gaurd. This vehicle had a collision with a car turning left in front of it......no skid marks...significant impact. Both airbags in the Toyota deployed. People in both vehicles walked away.
