I'll be right over to get it! Seriously though, I would like to get a hold of 4 spares and do some 4 wheel burnouts with the VTM off in a wet parking lot. I did this with my accord. It was the most fun I every had for $20. Since they have practically no traction when used as a set, I could do smoking burnouts at will.

Chris,

If you film it and post it, I'll donate my doughnut spare to your cause. It's just sitting in my garage collecting dust anyway (maybe I should put it on ebay?).

Is there any type of bracket that can mount the spare or a regular tire to the side or front of the bed of the Rigdeline that way I would gain space in the trunk?

Yes, see page 272 of your Owners Manual, although it says it's for temporary storage.

Take a look in the owner's manual. There is a specific mounting place on the right wall of the bed which is specificialy made to mount the spare tire on. It is covered with a dust plug and you can use the same hold down bolt the spare uses in the trunk.

CNJ I see you are going to add an AEM filter system. I have an AFE unit in a box and will install it soon.

ChrisM I have another spare I'd be willing to give you. I will be visiting my son in Illinois and I could stop by Swampler's in Tenn and pick his up on the way. That makes three. I will be going through Denver to see my daughter and also Kansas to visit an old navy buddy so we might be able to pick up another one along the way to Ohio. I was born and raised in Battle Creek so I could use that as an excuse to get a free bowl of corn flakes on my way and track down a spare. This would save you a lot of time if you had to do it yourself. I'll fly if you buy. (The gas that is.) I could even slide by NYC to see my other son if that is where the 4th spare resides.

LOL!! I have one too. As soon as I get a tire on my full sized rim, I would have a complete set!!

I hate to dissapoint anyone but I'm going to skip the burnout session with my RL. I had about 190,000 miles on my Accord when I did the spare tire burnout-o-rama thingy. I wouldn't want to do it again on a vehicle with only 7k miles on it. It would sure be fun with a rental though..

Does this mean that if I want to go to NYC that I will have to buy my own gas from your place to my son's?
