06/07 Pilot Radio??????Monkeyridge 09-26-2006, 07:30 AM I have an 06 Honda Pilot Radio that I got from a friend I believe it has a built in 6 disc cd player and I wanted to know what if anyone had a pic of the back of thier factory 06/07 rt or rtx radios? that way I could see the wiring on the back of both so I could determine if it is worth the time and effort......... The three connectors you see is the main connector (includes speakers, power, steering wheel controls, etc...), the XM connector and the antenna connector (the smallest one). I believe the main connector is a 20 PIN connector, the XM is a 14 PIN and the antenna has 2 PINs. I don't have my service manual in front of me so if someone out there knows better please chime in.:cool: Monkeyridge 09-26-2006, 10:55 AM Bongus Thank you very much......... I will keep it posted..... beepbill23 09-26-2006, 01:05 PM Typically, most honda radios of similar size and stature(6 indash changer or regular cd player) have the same General connector. My father's 05 pilot and my 06 ridgeline(nav) have the same general connector(radio and cd player use and speaker wiring) and look the same. Before proceeding, make sure you have the security code...:cool: Monkeyridge 10-30-2006, 07:23 AM I have the security code and after taking a closer look it will not fit like the factory ridge radio so i have not proceeded with this swap.....
