Well that kinda sucked...
They didn't fix anything
Radio AM noise - Service guy said early on it's probably "the coax". It was ordered and I asked twice if it had arrived ( 2 days before appt. and the nite of drop off. His response " the part is here". Reality no coax...

Pull to the right- They said " nothing out of the ordinary noted ". We went for a ride. I showed them . The service tech said " yea, it's pulling some".
Next visit they're putting it on the "machione"

Rough shifting - "They all do that" ?

Needless to say I was less that impressed with Honda Service....( first Honda auto)
Reminded me of the "big 3" mfgs ?

Hope it get better from here !

In closing, they did provide a car ( no gas in it) and that's no problem, until I see they've run about 3 gals. out of my truck with no offer to refill:mad:

I put gas in their POS....

Hey VTX....it sure is a miserable feeling to go to the dealer and get no answers to your questions. :(
As for the shifting issue, it looks like it is a "HONDA" and/or maybe even a "RIDGELINE" thing. Many of us have it. I don't like it either but I guess as long as I am safe and have no issues with it moving when I need it to, I'll live with it. I guess all we can do is wait and see if there is a fix.
Good luck. :)

Yes ,
I'm right there with ya LadyRidge. I can accept that on the trans but it's tough to swallow the way they handled the entire "visit" ???

I'm in the "customer service business" as well... ( I can't operate like that). It just amazes me that they try to "shovel " this kind of BS and expect someone to accept it.

I'll get off my box now...It's just to bad I didn't get a call from American Honda last nite a meal time to ask about my " service experience"

I'll give 'em a second chance.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with your Dealer's service.

What exactly do you mean by "Rough shifting" ? Mine shifts smoothly, so I know they don't all do that!

I have only taken mine in once..I was treated fine, the transmission TSB I showed them was done, and I had the A1 service. My complaint is I was told a price over the phone for the A1 service, when I went to pay they charged me more than I was told...Go Figure?

I'm thinking about going to a different dealer for future service...Maybe you should consider doing the same, especially if you're treated the same way again.
