If the Kenwood Sub you are talkng about is self contained with a built in amp, BMW makes an adapter to plug it right into the factory wiring harness. PM me with the model number and which 5 you are buying and I can tell you if it will fit. You may want to keep that item.

Funny thing about your RL sale, I traded my 540i in when I bought my Ridgeline. All I miss about my Bimmer is the power. Ahhhh the sweet sweet power. I wonder if I could shoehorn a 540 motor in a RL. Hmmmm...

Hey, I still have the car cover for my 540i in the garage. It has the mirror pockets and a door zipper. It is big enough to fit a 7 series. If you have something you might want to trade for it, I would be receptive. It is taking up room in the garage. I do not have a picture of it on the car unfortunately. It is one of those silver light reflecting covers. It also has the loops for a cable lock. It was never out in the weather. Only on the car in the garage. If you are interested, let me know.
