Decal Installation Instructions:

I know LadyRidge had the installation directions somewhere on the ROC, but I can't find it. I did find a set of instructions that came with my Pizza Man Decal. I would type them directly, but they are for a really large decal. So, I'll describe what I did.

First realize that the decal comes in three pieces laminated together. The top layer is what she calls the transfer tape. The center layer is the decal and the third layer is the backing. You'll need some masking tape or painters tape, a ruler and a credit card.

Take a piece of tape cut longer than the decal is wide. Apply the tape to the top edge of the decal assembly. Remember I said edge. You only need about 1/8 inch of the tape to contact the decal. Use the tape to position the decal to your window, you can use the ruler to help square it up. Keep repositioning the tape on the window until the decal is exactly where you want it.

Once your satisfied with the position, you then carefully remove the backing. Lift the bottom of the decal using the tape as a hinge point. Grab the backing layer and start to peel it off working your way up to the tape. Since there is only 1/8" of tape securing the decal to the window the backing will pull completely away from the back of the decal. Be care not to let the decal drop down to contact the window until you are ready to apply it.

After the backing is removed you are now ready to apply the decal. Because the tape is still in place and holding the remaining layers, the positioning is secure. Use the credit card as a squeegee to remove all the air bubbles that may occur and to actually stick the decal to the window. Start at the top and work your way down to the bottom with the credit card. You'll know when it's right. Then remove the tape and the top or transfer layer and you're done.
