OEM camera, can it be used with other monitors?

I'm considering the OEM back-up camera because of the reviews I've read, indicate that it is the best camera on the market.(all things considered)

But the question is, will the camera work with aftermarket monitors/NAV systems?

Will I need extra equipment to make it work?

I am using the OEM camera with non-OEM equipment and it works great.

You'll need the camera and its attachment kit, and whatever connectors you want to use for camera power and video.

Search the boards; I posted the pin-out for the camera in another post. The video signal is standard composite video, and power requirements are simply 12V and ground.
