I received the new Nav 4.55 software today. I haven't installed it yet, but if my address isn't on this one the DVD is going back. I'll post my impressions later. If you have an address you would like for me to check send me a private message instead of posting it here. I'll check them and get back to you ASAP.

I assume you really meant V4.55. You probably were replacing 4.31.

If you just received 4.31 I would send it back since 4.55 is out.

So far I'm not very impressed. The new Ravenel Bridge in Charleston isn't on there and it's been open for 15 months. My address isn't on there and it's been around for 17 months. I can forgive the address since it's a new residential area, but the Ravenel Bridge was the largest single span bridge built in the entire country and it's been in the works for about 6 years. The opening made national news. I expected that to be there.

I did notice that the I-485 extension in Charlotte, NC is on there now so it maps you all the way to I-85. It's been open a little bit longer than the bridge in Charleston.

I've got 30 days to return it so I'll continue to evaluate and decide in a week or two whether or not to keep it. It sure would be nice if they would publish a map to browse on the internet prior to purchase.
