Ironically enough, the remote worked and the doors would not unlock. I never gave it a second thought, but know that you mention it, maybe somehow it knew!! ;)

Even more ironic, wife totalled the first car, friend totalled the second, third was parked, and the last one was totalled by my sister.

Hopefully it will never be me or any car with my daughter in it.
